På 1940 tallet begynte PeFeGe Eriksson å produsere det som snart ble etablert som en klassiker blant industrielle arbeidslamper. Ett umiddelbart gjenkjennelig ikon som gjennom årene har funnet plass i utallige fabrikker. Ja vi er stolte av å ha en PeFeGe original fra en av våre dreiebenker på Ørsjø Belysning. To svenske arkitekter, Ann Morsing og Beban Nord fra Box Arkitekter har tatt utfordringen med å oppdatere det klassiske designet for å skape en lampe som møter de nye kravene til dagens og morgendagens verden. Dette uten å gå på akkord med det særegne utseendet til orginalen som gikk ut av produksjon på 1990 tallet.

Dagens PJ serie, passer like godt hjemme som i det offisielle rom, er produsert av Ørsjø blysning i Nybro Sverige.

OBS! Når du strammer leddene på lampen, fjern den ytre vingemutteren og stram mutteren i skjøten. Bytt deretter vingemutteren. Vingemutteren skal kun brukes til å finjustere spenningen i skjøtene.

In the 1940s PeFeGe Eriksson in Stockholm began to manufacture what soon established a reputation for itself as a classic among industrial work lamps – an instantly recognisable icon that over the years has found a place in countless factories. Indeed, we’re proud to have a PeFeGe original on one of our own lathes here at Örsjö Belysning.

A TIP TO REMBER! When tightening the joints of the lamp, remove the outer wing nut and tighten the nut in the joint. Then replace the wing nut. The wing nut should only be used to make fine adjustments to the tension in the joints.

Two Swedish architects, Ann Morsing and Beban Nord at Box Arkitekter, have risen to the challenge of updating this classic design to create a lamp to meet the new demands of today’s and tomorrow’s world – without compromising the distinctive appearance of the original that went out of production in the 1990s. “We could see the potential to transform the lamp into a product that would work in interior decoration contexts, simply by giving its lines a slightly more sophisticated look,” explains Beban Nord of Box Arkitekter. Today the new updated PJ series – contemporary, timeless and equally at home in both domestic, office and public settings – is produced by Örsjö Belysning in Nybro, Sweden. Ideally suited to a wide variety of styles and surroundings, the lamp combines flair with function. The name PJ has been retained. “It’s the original name, and it seemed only natural to continue to use it,” Beban Nord says.

The floor lamp that leaves no doubt there is a place for good industrial design even in indoor domestic settings. The perfect solution beside every sofa where you wish to combine good lighting with a design that is both chic and timeless. The PJ series is manufactured in a lacquered metal finish.

Ann Morsing og Beban Nord er utdannet ved Konstfacks Institutt for interiørarkitektur og møbeldesign.

Sammen driver de arkitektfirmaet Box Arkitekter, som hovedsakelig jobber med oppdrag for offentlig og privat miljø, utstillinger, medieoppdrag og produktdesign.

De har tidligere designet, produsert og markedsført møbler i eget firma Box Design og har deltatt på møbelmesser og utstillinger i blant annet Stockholm, Milano, Köln, København og New York.

Ann Morsing and Beban Nord are educated at Konstfack's Department of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design.

Together they run the architectural firm Box Arkitekter, which mainly works with assignments for the public and private environment, exhibitions, media assignments and product design.

They have previously designed, produced and marketed furniture in their own company Box Design and have participated in furniture fairs and exhibitions in Stockholm, Milan, Cologne, Copenhagen and New York, among others.
